The Mammoth (south) trailhead does show on Google maps. It is the best place to park. The trail is stretched out into ten 'loops'. All loops should be ridden counterclockwise except for Ridge northbound. Parking is available in a few locations, depending on where you want to start your exercise. The map identifies a central gravel corridor in white that runs the entire distance, from Washing Machine at there north end, to Shelter at the south end. You may use it if you're running out of time and need to get back sooner, or just want to get off the single track to something easier. The gravel corridor also plays a significant role in connecting the various loops. Caution: NEVER CROSS THE RR TRACKS BETWEEN CARS, IT IS VERY DANGEROUS!

Small dirt lot off W 82nd St, directly across from Spring Peeper Meadow parking and next to Michael Foods factory.
Washing Machine begins a short distance south, and Peninsula a little further down.

McKnight Rd to central parking can only be accessed from the north via Lyman Blvd. Some old signs still call the new extension of Lyman Blvd as W 82nd St. There is a small pullout area 0.8 miles after turning onto McKnight Rd (gravel). Look for the short gravel connector road to the left (east). Both sides of the road can be used for parking.
Four trail loops to pick from: Skull, Wildlife, Ridge and SW McKnight Lake.

South end parking is at the McKnight Park Shelter, just off Pioneer Trail, and a short distance west of Hwy 41/N Chestnut St. Turn north on McKnight Rd from Pioneer trail and take the first right into the lot.
The Shelter loop begins at the tree line about 30 yds NNW from the picnic shelter and connects with the SW McKnight trail across the RR tracks to the north.
